Wild curves: Unleashed!
Let’s familiarize ourselves with Jef Gaitan and Wendy Valdez this October, shall we? They’re two beauties plucked from the wilderness of reality shows to untame our October. Previously house-bounded and island-stranded, Jef and Wendy are freeing themselves off captivity, clothing included. Also in this month's issue: the foxiest hotties of pre-FHM era, memorable film quotes in Pinoy cinema, and the deadly truth about bleeding parts.

Pop rockers
Parokya ni Edgar’s new album, entitled Middle-Aged Juvenile Novelty Pop Rockers, is a parody of the Ninja Turtles. It is also a perfect description of what the band has become today. “We just wanted to come up with a title na dine-describe kami kung ano kami ngayon, and we came up with this one,” says Chito Miranda, who also talked about the band’s longevity, their songwriting technique, and going back to basics, among others. Proceed to check out our interview with the PNE front man.

Ink fest!
This year marks the tenth year of the Dutdutan Festival, the biggest tattoo convention and competition in the country. Dubbed Dutdutan X: A Decade of Artistic Ink, it featured a slew of bands, a bikini contest, and a drummer duel. Of course, it hasn’t always been the case. Tattooing has obviously come a long way.
Check out our event coverage here.

Boy Angas
Sunday’s UFC 119 saw former heavyweight champion Frank Mir knock out Mirko Cro Cop in the third round in a somewhat lackluster main event. Just as disappointed, Frank Mir only has this to say after the fight: “A sh**** win is still better than a sh**** loss.” Notorious for being a trash talker pre and post fight, this kind of swag isn’t new to the former heavyweight champion. Find out some of Frank Mir’s most memorable angas moments in the UFC and let us know what you think.
