UAAP '73: The Finals
The FEU Tamaraws and the Ateneo Blue Eagles will go head to head in the UAAP Season 73 Finals this Saturday, September 25. The blue squad is looking to do a three-peat this year, while their green and yellow counterparts, with such a deep bench, are looking to finish the season they dominated with a much-expected title.

Universal sizzler
September cover babe Bianca Manalo’s first dating requirement will make Pinoy men worried: “Number one, kailangan matangkad siya,” quips the 5’10” stunner. “Importante yun kasi since beauty queen ka, parati kang naka-heels.” That immediately eliminates a good percentage of them hopefuls, but don’t get your hopes down just yet: Bianca did mention she’s also into men with a good sense of humor, given that she herself has a funny girl persona.

GSP's in town
UFC Welterweight champion Georges St-Pierre is finally in town Thursday en route to a 3-day Manila tour that will culminate with an open training session at the SM Mall of Asia open grounds on Saturday, September 25. During his Manila press conference, GSP talks about the technical aspect of changing weight classes, the idea of Manny Pacquiao venturing into MMA, and his mindset coming to his December 12 bout with welterweight contender Josh Koscheck.

The 9th Pelicula Spanish Film Festival, dubbed as “the biggest presentation of Spanish cinema in Asia and the Pacific,” will kick off September 29 at Greenbelt 3 cinemas. Presented by Instituto Cervantes de Manila, the festival will feature 23 critically-acclaimed films coming from Spain and Latin America. Workshops from Spanish filmmakers Lola Mayo (Lo Que Se de Lola and La Mujer Sin Piano) and Isaki Lacuesta (Los Condenados) will also take place.
